Frequently Asked Questions
Before starting, ensure the recovery (dirty water) tank is empty and the fine mesh strainer is clean. Fill the solution (clean water) tank with clean water and the recommended concentration of a low-foam, neutral pH floor cleaner. Lower the brush/pad to the floor and the squeegee assembly before beginning the operation.
A neutral pH floor cleaner is recommended for most general cleaning tasks. For heavy dirt, an alkaline cleaner can be used. It is crucial to use a low-foam detergent and add a small amount of defoamer to the recovery tank to protect the vacuum motor.
Run times vary by model and battery type. Generally, lead-acid batteries last 2.5-3.5 hours and require 8-10 hours to fully charge. Lithium-ion batteries can run for 3-5 hours and charge in about 3.5 hours.
Guide the machine slowly in straight, parallel rows, overlapping each pass slightly to ensure even coverage. Avoid pushing or pulling the machine aggressively.
After each use, drain and rinse both the solution and recovery tanks to prevent odors, mildew, and chemical buildup. Remove and clean the debris tray, the fine mesh strainer, the squeegee blades, and the brushes/pads. Wipe down the exterior of the machine.
Store the machine indoors in a clean, dry place protected from extreme temperatures. Do not store the machine sitting on the brush or pad, and leave the recovery tank lid open to air dry completely.
