I don't usually write reviews, but the Therma-Steem Model 400 forced my hand. We run a manufacturing facility producing PVC fencing, and our calibration tools get caked in heavy wax and compound build-up ("plate-out").

Cut My Cleaning Time in Half - Perfect for Multi-Story Homes

This little vacuum is a great design and the suction is much better than I had anticipated. I have gone from 3 hours pushing around a vacuum to about 1 to 1 1/2 hours with this vacuum in my home. I have 3 floors in my home so just imagine the time one would save from not having to pull, push, lift up and down 3 flights of steps.

This vacuum also allows you to get under furniture the way it's designed doesn't require a lot of space to clear the face of dressers etc. It is an all around great vacuum. You won't be disappointed with this purchase I highly recommend.

WOW WOW WOW - ProLux Has Done It Again! It's definitely difficult to curb this old lady's enthusiasm, but O M G PROLUX has done it again. I've been a huge supporter of ProLux vacuums for years. Their vacuum CFM suction is one of the best on the market. I also own a ProLux canister for my hardwood floors.

The Phantom is well designed, easy to maneuver, with a pedal foot release and power. A cupped handle on front for easy transport, especially on stairs. The crevice tool fits inside on board wand. The hepa filter bags & filters are reasonably priced compared to other high quality vacuums. The power cord & hose is a tad stiff, but good quality. Don't let the light weight fool you, because it's full of powerful suction—it lifted a full 12 oz soda can, so it will easily collect dog & cat hair & food.
